Aside from our tree and stockings, we haven't had time for very much Christmas decorating. So it's mostly simple things like ornaments scattered around in jars and on trays, little gift boxes here and there, lots of candles (my green scented ones from Ikea are the best), and strings of lights. I love all of these things because they make our home cozier and can linger around after Christmas and New Years without feeling too holiday specific.
This weekend is our one and only free weekend in December, and I'm so glad to spend it with Q. He was gone at base last weekend, so tonight he is taking me on a date for our favorite pizza and a movie. Hope yours is just as good.
ps. Christmas Eve is two weeks from tonight!
