Weekend Photos: Read + Travel

Two things that I want to do more in 2011 is read and travel. I mainly read on the internet and its mostly about blogging, web design, or some sort of reference or information like on wikipedia. I want to read more for entertainment and enjoyment. I really miss the days where I could cuddle up to a good book and just become enthralled with the story and I force myself to stay awake just so I can know what happens next. I havent read a book like that in awhile. I feel like I am becoming more picky as I get older and more judgemental. Does anybody have any suggestions for a good read?

I also am dying to travel more. I know I know I live in a destination spot but even Maui can become mundane after awhile and of course its always great to come back to but our bodies need change once in awhile as most of you know. Its such a healthy thing for us humans to step out of our comfort zone and live and breath new things. I would love to see this magical building in person. Wouldnt you?

Getting into the Swing of Things

After a vacation it always takes me some time to get back into the swing of things. This week started off even harder because I caught something nasty from the plane. Fortunately I am feeling better and now I am working hard to get Lovely Clusters into shape. Thank you for your patience as I get things back into order. :)

Weekend Photo

Its been a pretty busy week moving and painting the new house. Its coming along but still a lot of work to do. The next couple of days is going to be a lot of cleaning. Fun I know. :) Right now I am really looking forward to being in Portland soon and celebrating my birthday there! I couldn't ask for a more perfect time to take a little vacation. We will be camping in Northern Washington on the weekend and I even get to see some of my family from Hilton Head Island! My uncle and my grandma will be in Portland for a few days the same time we will be there and my Dad from San Francisco will be there too. I cant wait! :)

Weekend Photo

How is your weekend going? Mine has been pretty busy. We started to paint the new place yesterday and although the tan color isn't exactly what I wanted it looks way better than before. Such an improvement. Today we are moving some furniture in to get a head start. We have been able to move in slowly so its been a lot less stressful than other moves I have done. Getting excited!

I found this photo yesterday and instantly fell in love. Just gorgeous!!
